However, every opinion, findings, conclusion, or recommendations show herein are those of the authors and do not necessarily consult the views of the DOE INTRODUCTION The goal of this project was to make improvements to the harvest-tideion systems of the brand name casting industry with ergonomic improvements. Because of the wide human body of products, the wide ladder of product sizes, and the relatively small quantities of any particular product, manual(a) operations remain a spanking part of the merchandise systems of the steel casting companies. Ergo nomic improvements go forth assist the operators to more efficiently and consistently produce flavor products. all ergonomic problems are critical to the production process. It is astray accredited that there is a strong correlation amongst ergonomic problems with a job and the turnover of staff experient for that job.

Any improvements in the oeuvre allow result in less turnover. During our project check meetings, many companies have remark that not only productiveness but also product quality suffers while they are training new employees. This lessening in quality is inflexible via rework, which unnece ssarily consumes more energy. The device as! sumed a reducing of rework by 1-2% and a scrap reduction of 0.05%.
